Is McCreary's middle school as good as I have been told they are? I have been told that they are exceptional with big athletic kids in both the 7th and 8th grades.

I think their record is good. I haven't seen any games in person, but I have been able to catch a few minutes of some on the local television station.

I hear they are a talented group and should fit in nicely with Watts in the future. Not sure how they stack up with Clay, Wayne, Somerset, Corbin, Lex Cath or Knox County's youngsters.

I think they stack well with Wayne and Somerset (Meece) and should keep McCreary competitive after this year's juniors are gone.

With North and South gone, Wayne down and the Mess in Pulaski, the Raiders might be dancing n Rupp....what a sight Raider Rob and Nat Guard on the big floor at the same time. If Coach Jones makes it will he break out the Burgandy blazer and gold suspenders?

I have yet to see Knox, LexCath, Corbin or Clay. Meece's 6th and 7th both beat Corbin (no idea about 8th) and McCreary has a young star in either 6th or 7th.

I'm sure he'll break out whatever he has if they make it. The entire county will probably be at Rupp if they make it. They had probably the most fans at the region tournament last season and their fans travel extremely well.

These teams are all pretty good. Meece at Somerset is hard to beat. Must be the 6th, their 7th has been beaten three times by the Corbin 7th grade group.

I agree I for one would be in attendance to see the Raiders Romp in Rupp. Might even wear a Rob Jones for President shirt as well. Coach Jones is one of my favorite local sports personalities. He is a gem.

Man, he harasses those refs. I thought the little ref last night at Lincoln was going to wet his pants, Jonesy had him in a stare down.

I'd pay to see Coach Jones dance. I hope he can get this group to Rupp.

Would they be considered a "Mid-Major" since this is a small county and even though they're not known for any sport, the last couple of years they've been pretty good in basketball?

I doubt that I was at the game and those two did a great job dont think a stare down would phase those two very much two of the best I have seen. I am from another region and believe me you guys are lucky to have guys like that so be thankful.

They're good referees... just the smaller guy had the facial expression like he was frightened... maybe that is just how his face looks all of the time.

 

The 12th region has some of the best referees in the state.
