Who wins?  If East Jessamine pulls it off and West Jessamine beats Madison Southern, East will be regular season champions. Home playoff game on the line as well.

7:47 in the 1st qtr. East FG attempt blocked. East starting qb broke his hand over the weekend and is done. Backup sprained his ankle Wednesday and is out tonight. 3rd strong qb comes in and mostly Wildcat and sweeps and drives to the 26 before the blocked FG. Montgomery County hits a 20 yard crossing route on 3rd and 11 and out to the 47. First play 1 yard loss. 2nd and 11 tunnel screen big gain to the 29 4:36 left in 1st. Deep pass off hands of safety and into Caba’s hands for a lucky TD. PAT attempt bobbled and holder lofts it for a 2 pt conversion. 8-0 Montgomery leads with 4:16 left in 1st qtr.

Net 4 yards loss. East punts away gets a friendly roll to the 38. First play run up gut is stopped minimal gain. Caba sweep around left for 9 and a first down. Looks like head coaches son gets a lot of touches for them. Caba with another slant and first down. They’re on move with the passing game some. Rushing game is being stacked up pretty good by East D. End of the 1st.

Montgomery drives to the 4, on 4th and goal, East picks off pass in the end zone and runs it back out to the 23. East ball. 8:48 left in 2nd. Nothing happening. Punted away.

Some nice runs but punt away again. Downed at the 12, great punt. Toss sweep left side for big gain to the 35. Montgomery has enough speed to be a little dangerous.

Half. 15-0 Montgomery over East. Coach Fields and staff will need to figure out how to give their D a break and sustain some drives. Really hard with a WR playing QB who practiced for 2 days at the spot

East scores but misses kick. 15-6 1:49 left in 3rd. Things getting a little chippy but just playing with passion.

Back breaker. East had Montgomery at 3rd and about 20 left a guy uncovered over the middle. Then Montgomery punches it in a few plays later. 22-6 5:32 left in the game. Need some quick strikes now

Choppiness boiled over. MC player ripped East player helmet off, ref somehow flags East player for reacting, coach gets hit also with a flag for protesting. 2 unsportsmanlike bumps East back 30 yards. Pass intercepted and action afterwards by MC results in unsportsmanlike again. And just now offsetting personal fouls. Refs let this one get way out of hand.
