Middlesboro sits at 4-3 on the season, and is looking to lock up another district championship. Middlesboro has already beaten 3/4 teams in the district and a win this Friday will lock them into the top spot in the district. A loss will almost guarantee the 2 seed unless Harlan beats Williamsburg the week after this game. Williamsburg sits at 4-1 on the season with its only loss to Clay County 27-18, in which they lead the game at one point 18-0 before Clay County come storming back. Williamsburg is slated to play just 8 games. They haven’t had a full 10 game schedule in some time now.
