Pikeville travels to Paintsville Friday night to start district play. The Panthers (2-5) were off last week. Paintsville (2-6) lost to Hazard on Friday. Who wins this district matchup?

    Not to disparage Paintsville in any way, but no problem for Pikeville, and this as a result of a real tough schedule. Those that have been injured are healing and the Panthers seem to be turning the corner at the right time. Safe and injury free game to both teams.

    Pikeville wins big. Hoping Paintsville can get out of this one injury free. They’ve been devastated with injuries. 

    Pikeville ought to be having an enjoyable right back down Route 23 come 9:30 or 10:00 on Friday. I figure there will be a running clock once the third quarter comes to an end in this one.

    Pikeville leads 21-0 at the half.
