Minnesota advances with an 88-77 win in Game 5.

Minnesota Lynx vs the New York Liberty for the WNBA championship.

Minnesota takes game 1 of the finals, 95-93 in OT.  Lynx didn't take a lead until 5.5 seconds left in regulation after the Liberty were up 15 with 6 minutes left.  NY was able to tie it and send it into OT, but MN pulled out the win.

That comeback was insane. Let’s do this, Lynx!

Liberty take game 2 80-66.   Breanna Stewart lead all scorers with 21.  Minnesota made another run to make it a close game midway through the 4th, but today, NY had the answers and knot the series at 1 game a piece.  

Series now moves to Minneapolis where game 3 tips off Wednesday at 8:00.

New York Liberty win the 2024 WNBA title with a 67-62 game 5 win.  Win the series, 3 games to 2.

Game 5 on Sunday drew 3.3 Million viewers.  Excellent viewership considering they were on the same time as Sunday Night Football and an MLB playoff game.
