Update on Boyle's next week opponent

If it wasn't already daunting enough, Boyle's trip to Cleveland next Saturday now appears even more formidable.

St Edward's easily took care of Philadelphia St. Joe Prep (ranked #21 nationally by Calpreps & as high as #9 nationally by other rankings) this afternoon.

The Eagles ran out to a 28-0 lead, and lead 35-7 at the half. 

St Joe Prep was able to add 14 2nd half points to make the final score a more respectable 35-21.

Needless to say, St. Ed's appears to have reloaded nicely from graduation losses and will serve as an opponent that's next level good.

Also, St. Edward beat Pickerington North (OH) last week, 28-0.

I think St. Edward is licking their chops looking at the Harbin points potential Boyle offers them.

Agreed. Danville is getting a little enjoyment watching Boyle make this road trip!  The Eagles are going for a four-peat in OHSAA Division 1. 

Even losing I believe 7 offensive starters to graduation St. Ed just reloads.
I am covering the Boyle County at St. ED. game this weekend.
