Madison Central at Lexington Catholic Predictions/Updates

Lexington Catholic returns to their friendly confines looking for their first win of the season. They host Madison Central in the home opener, a team they just steamrolled last year 47 to 0. In the opener against Highlands in Fort Thomas, Matthew Kern got his debut at the QB position and went for over 100 yards in passing but was picked off twice.

 

Look for the Knight ground game to really step up here with Alex Rayyan leading the way after an anemic 43 team rushing yard performance against Highlands. Madison Central shouldn't have a meaningful answer for that rushing attack with should see multiple backs getting involved early and often.

 

Brady Wasik's linebacker group anchors a defense that more than held their own against Highlands. Look for them to be aggressive often and early this week.

The Indians travel up to Lexington to take on the Knights of Lexington Catholic. 
 

Madison Central comes in with a 25-14 win over Johnson Central. 
 

Lexington Catholic comes in after falling 17-7 to Highlands.

Last week, Madison Central saw Cody Morrison make 2 receptions for a total of 103 yards. He accounted for 2 of the team's 3 receptions and all but 18 of the receiving yards. 7 players carried the ball for a combined 119 on 35 rushes.

Lexington Catholic had 129 yards through the air but Matthew Kern was picked off twice. They had their sole score on a rushing touchdown but were held to 61 total rushing yards with Brady Wasik leading the way with 28 yards on 4 rushing attempts.
