Not bad. Would be interesting to see a breakdown by class and quality. Essentially, how did good teams do against good teams?

If you look at things, a whole lot of the losses are by smaller schools like Fulton County, Jenkins, Phelps, Covignton Holy Cross, Ballard Memorial and the like. Teams that oftentimes have a hard time getting a more than a win or two in any given season. Sitting on the state borders, those teams end up filling in a lot of non-district vacancies with folks from across the state line, and as a result they're adding a lot of losses to the overall result from the state.

And with Kentucky's RPI system effectively punishing teams for playing out-of-state competition now, I think lots of coaches who look at their teams and feel like they have a legitimate run at a state title in the next couple of years turn out to be a lot more reluctant to schedule teams from other states.
