KHSAA Pickleball

This is a little random.  Lately I’ve been taking my son to Noble Park a few times a week and there are teens EVERYWHERE!  A couple questions for y’all:

1. Are y’all seeing the same thing in your community?  I mean it has really surprised me the number of kids.

2. Do you think the KHSAA would consider making Pickleball a sport?  I assume it would take a few years.

I personally think it may be a sport withing 5 years imo.

The hard part is getting your season down. Getting the structure of refs, rules, venues and considering competing for kids already doing other sports during that time of year.  I assume it would be near the tennis season; may just preceding it in late Spring maybe?????
