🗞 | At the risk of stating the obvious…. the draw was kind to Boyd County. The champions of the 64th District open with East Carter, a team they destroyed by 44 back in December. But to anyone penciling the Lions in for an easy win, Boyd and East met in the first round last year, with the Lions needing overtime to advance. Boyd is a safe pick here, but the Raiders are playing well and capable of muddying the waters and making this interesting.

@16thBBall Fan, can your boys get it done tonight? I can't see East keeping pace in a shootout. I expect them to slow the pace as much as they can. If Boyd's allowed to play it's usual run 'n gun style, that won't bode well for the Raiders.

I hope they can but I am not sure I sure the Boyd players remember the scare they put in them last season. The Raiders will have to have huge games from Hall, and Goodman and hope Spurlock and Hicks are a little off. I'll be watching from here in GTown on my tv and probably Simon Kenton and Woodford on my laptop.
