Ashland Tomcats  (14-6, Nations Elite #21) | Boyd County Lions (18-4, KY HS Sports Zone #14)

? | Round 1 lived up to the hype, as Boyd County had to fend off multiple comeback bids by Ashland before prevailing 73-67. Each has gone 5-1 since, with the losses coming to top five Catholic powers. The Tomcats appear to be at full strength for the first time in nearly a month, setting the table for a sequel that may equal or even surpass part one.

Series History: Ashland leads 51-30 dating back to 1998. The Tomcats have won six of the last seven games played on Boyd's home floor.

Tip-off ?: Tonight at 7:30 at Boyd County Middle School
