Halftime St. Xavier 52 Butler 33. No disrespect to Butler but the Tigers are just the much better team. St. X looking to win their first LIT since 1965.

Crazy how in an OT game last night St. X scored 58 and have almost reached that number in 16 minutes tonight. Says a lot about how good of a defensive team Trinity is.
 

Maybe the Rocks could teach UK a little about playing defense. 

St. X shot a blistering 70% in the first half. They are the 4th best team I've seen this year in my opinion behind Lyon County, Great Crossing and Lexington Catholic.

Butler came out of the half with lots of energy and some nice adjustments. 9-2 run has got lead cut to 12. St. X leads 54 to 42.

Butler is just playing harder than St. X right now and playing relentless on defense causing St. X to turn it over. They have cut it to 10 61 to 51 Tigers lead.

I must say I'm very shocked in a game I thought was over and was gonna get worse Butler said absolutely not! Bears are playing very motivated and has St. X shook up. End of the third St. X 61 Butler 56.

This one has gotten interesting and St. X looks exhausted and is in trouble. They 18 pt lead at half time is gone St. X now leads by 2 63 to 61.

St. X 70 Butler 67. So impressed with what Butler has done in this second half. They have finally made a believer out of me and they are a very good team. See how last couple minutes plays out.
