Who are the next big Varsity players off this freshmen team for Mason County? Looks like the point spread is pretty even among the scorers. How about the new Coach they have? I haven't been to any of the freshmen or JV games this year. Curious to what we have to look forward to.

I really don't know; my understanding is that there is some nice talent at the 8th grade level as well. I think that Brad Pawsat's younger brother and Trevor Setty's younger brothers are both 8th graders; both long and lean like their older brothers.

One of the things that Royals fans have to be optimistic about is that there is no single year coming up where all the starters will graduate. Starters Scott and Pawsay, along with reserves Browning and Stahl are seniors this year; starters Miller and Setty along with Tolle and King (I think) are juniors; Middleton and a couple of reserves are sophs. Mason County's freshmen haven't been playing varsity ball; I don't know about JV.

And the new coach for the Freshmen at Mason County?

Clay Boone; fairly new to coaching I believe, but his dad was an assistant for several years. Someone closer to the Royals program can tell you more.

OK, I had seen him on the bench. Makes sense now. Seems like they are doing pretty well with their record. Always good to see good things happening on the freshmen level. They won't stay freshmen for long!:thumb:

We will look forward to seeing the Freshmen Royals in the SyDome on Thursday night!!!

Looks like the Freshmen Royals got another W last night against Pendleton County.
