The lady Owls fell to the Lady Bulldogs in the finals at Breathitt County. Hazard came out firing on all cylinders and jumped out to a 12 point lead and the Lady Owls never recovered. Owsley cut the lead to five a few times but after Halftime the Lady bulldogs were able to pull away. Once agian turnovers doomed the lady Owls.

Congratulations to Coach Fannin and the Lady Bulldogs, Best of luck in the State All A Classic.

Congratulations Lady Bulldogs and great job Lady Owls for making it this far.

Congratulations Lady Owls for making it to the finals. I believe that makes 4 runner-up trophies Owsley has won in the All A region. Maybe next year they can take it all and get to Richmond. They have all their players back with the exception of Murrell.

I was impressed with Hazard's long range shooting. They shot the lights out. I don't know if they shoot like that every game, but if they do they'll certainly be a tough out in March.

Way to go lady Owls getting where you got. Keep getting better and better and who knows what next year might bring.

I was also professor. The long range shots from number 32 really got Hazard with the momentum the entire game. COngrats for the Owls making it tus far, just gotta find a way to get over the hump. I watched Hazard play a couple weeks before that and the long range shot was still put up but didnt fall half as many times as that night againest the owls. But then Big Players step up in big games to become a BIG GAME PLAYER and that gives them an advantage. Hazard dont shoot like that every game but they really stepped it up when it counts.
