uk96
I'm not sure but I think that when a school qualifies for the All A their enrollment figures aren't looked at for another year. That is, they're in for a two year period before another count is done. This is the way it used to be unless they've changed it. Qualification is based on a year to year basis and that is why Knott County does not qualify next year. The figure is based on 450 students in the 10-12 grades and some years some classes fluctuate. gchs_uk9
I think Lee has a good as shot as anybody in this one.... If they can win their opener, which will likely be at Hazard, the Bobcats do have a good shot. A semifinal matchup with either Wolfe County or Jenkins would work in their favor and perhaps experience from last year's run could give them an edge in the championship against June Buchanan/Buckhorn/Knott County Central or whoever makes it to the final game. But they have to win AT HAZARD first.
