Overtime thriller and the Patriots get the win on the road and clinch playoff berth. Hopkinsville has been eliminated from the playoffs, they will be on the road next week at PRP in what could be their last game in school history.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a finish quite like that. Patriots up 6. Hoptown throws an INT on 4th and 7 from the ACS 21 to put Patriots at the 3 - they should have batted that down. Three plays go nowhere, Hoptown uses final timeouts. 48 seconds left. Punter is instructed to run around, fall down in end zone for safety after wasting some time. He does that for a bit but seems to forget the situation, and runs out of the end zone to get tackled at the 1. Setting up first and goal. Tigers convert on QB sneak. But the PAT is pushed left. Game goes to overtime, ACS scores to go up seven, Tigers score to draw within 1, and then a QB draw is stopped cold at the 1 to clinch the win. Wild heroics but probably never should have been required. But Patriots keep their playoff streak alive - last missed in 2007.

Totally agree. I think it is football in its purest form.
