John Hardin vs. Thomas Nelson Predictions/Updates

After sleepwalking for the first half of Friday's game vs Breckinridge County and down 13-18, John Hardin came to life, aided by 2 pick sixes, and pulled away for a 37-18 win. John Hardin has amassed over 1,500 yards rushing thru six games but an abysmal 185 passing yards. Like I always say, they need to be more balanced on offense and improve the back end of their defense to post a winning season. 

Thomas Nelson is led by QB Zander Smith (408 passing yards), and Aiden Druck leads the way at the RB position with 133 yards. 

WR Zaine Smith and Cade Benningfield are top receivers with 169 and 138 yards respectively. 

John Hardin should roll in this matchup.

JH played its worst game all season long on Friday night. Penalties, turnovers on offense and a couple big plays kept Breck in the game. JH was down 3 starters but it is no excuse for what happened Friday night. However, a win is a win. It was interesting seeing the coaching staff try to run some shotgun sets on offense (which got flagged for false starts 80% of the time). Being able to spread a defense out will be key for this offense against better teams. Need a clean game this week so they can get ready for Bardstown next week. JH big in this one
