Ther Central Hardin defense allowed Central RB Cortez Stone to rush for 206 yards on Friday night. QB Steven Smith and RB Cortez Stone dominated the second half of the game thanks to an offensive line that seemed to take over late in the 3rd quarter. The Central Yellowjackets ended up with 300 yards of total offense while allowing Central Hardin only 126 offensive yards.

Central Hardin must establish the line of scrimmage and their running duo of Mason Gardner and Walker Meredith, against a team in Warren Central who has allowed nearly 1,000 yards on the ground thru six games.

Warren Central is led by QB Zarionte Howard (348 passing yards), and RB Devonte Patterson (266 yards on the ground).

I expect Central Hardin to snap its three- game losing streak and come out with a 2-3 TD advantage in this matchup.

Central Hardin should get the win and by a wide margin, but don’t be surprised if the score is 8-7 at the half, they’re a scrappy group of kids who get after it in spurts and if you give them an inch they’ll take a mile. Defensively for the Bruins taking advantage of all the opportunities the Dragons will leave to turn the ball over will be the key of the game, because they can move the football down the field it’s just a matter of protecting the football that has been their biggest concern.

Bump.
