Hart County travels across town to play Caverna. Hart enters the game 5-0. Caverna enters 2-3. Any thoughts going into this one? And should this still be considered a "rivalry" game anymore?

Coach Trevent Hayes at Caverna in his first season has scrummaged a couple of wins this season and caught my eye, anyone in the Soky area knows that’s a difficult place to win. If the kids are still motivated in the sense of trying to compete then it should continue, if the Coach wants to schedule a lighter opponent for his 1A ball club in the wake of the Raiders recent success, then that should be accepted as well.

With that being said I’ll take Hart County 50-14.

Best of luck to both teams going forward!

I have family that used to live in Hart County and went to Caverna.  They would talk about their big upcoming games and Hart Co was always at the top of the list.  It's not really a rivalry game from state perspective anymore IMO, but it always will be in Hart County.

Good luck to both teams!  No injuries!

Guys HC has had a good season and a half. But they are historically bad and graduate a lot of guys this year. Caverna has a really good group of sophomores, if they can hold this group together they can certainly compete with Hart the next couple years. Unfortunately this year Hart will win easily.

Hart only graduates 11 this year. There are currently 19 Juniors on the team.

11 is a lot for a small school.

At the Half; Hart 46 - 6 Caverna

This was the final score. Hart JV played the second half.
