This game was A lot closer than the final score indicated.

 

Rebounding  killed Russell and shooting 26 percent in the 1st half.

Congrats to Lewis County! Tough place to win for sure. Looks like Russell has one quality win on the schedule (vs Morgan), so this is not surprising at all. Good luck to both teams next week!

Lewis County has sorta quietly won the district four of the last five years. Impressive.

Lewis County was missing their best player Trey Gerike for a lot of the season due to injury. Also the game was played at Lewis County. With Gerike back Lewis County is a different team.

    If Russell and Lewis County played 10 times they would probably split or it would be close to a split.
