When: Tonight, February 7th at 7:30 PM

Where: Spencer County High School

Huge game tonight in the 8th Region! The #1 team in the region and #3 team in the state North Oldham travels over to play Spencer County.

North Oldham leads the all-time city 10-3, splitting their last two matchups.

Spencer County lives and dies by the 3, giving them the ability to knock off anyone in the region. I am excited to see how this one turns out.

Game will be shown live on YouTube on the GHP-Sports channel. Pregame starts at 7:15.

Spencer playing at home will be very tough, but the outside shots will likely need to fall.   North should control the paint, unless Anderson and Higdon get in foul trouble.

North's an exceptional outside shooting team as well, with Roberts, Fischer, Neal, and Howard all very quality perimeter players.

Should be a fun, fast-paced game, but I would have to pick North to win.

North by 16.

20-16 North after 1. Erhardt with 10 of their 16, Anderson for NO with 3 early blocks.

27-18 North 6:13 left in 2nd, very questionable no call on an obvious goaltend to add on to the ‘Stangs run

31-22 NO after 1/2FT from Spencer, NO’s Anderson having a great 2nd quarter

35-34 North with 1:30 to go in 2nd. Great push here from the Bears

37-34 North Oldham at halftime. Like @ColonelMike mentioned before, the Mustangs bigs are dominating the game, not only offensively but defensively as well.

Luke Erhardt was the Bears scoring option from the tip, scoring their first 6 points of the game and didn’t slow down. I believe he has 14-16.

Bears cut it to as low as 1-point in the 3rd quarter, but couldn't keep it close.

58-45 North after 3

66-52 North Oldham with 4:36 to go. Timeout Spencer after a Cox 3-pointer.

72-63 North with 1:31 to go. Spencer is starting to make it interesting.

77-63 North Oldham final.
