OC coulda used the 3 points that was taken off the scoreboard when the REF called a timeout for no reason as Max Green was drilling a long three pointer late in the first half.

I noticed that, was it because of the clock? If it was, the refs would have stopped the game anyways to correct the clock. 

However, you can't blame the loss on refs. There are many possessions on both offense and defense that every losing team didn't give 100%, and those are more of a factor in a win or a loss, rather than a couple calls by a referee. They are not perfect, and will mess up multiple times on both ends. 

For example, the charge call at the end of regulation sure looked like a block, and if it was called a block North most likely would have hit 1 of the 2 free throws and ended the game in regulation rather than it even going into OT. 

The two younger refs are - I’ve thought this for several years - the best and most consistent officials in this region.  But I thought in both the South/OC game and the North/OC game they had poor nights.  

I haven’t seen a box score yet, and while both Anderson and Higdon scored in the extra period, I’m pretty sure at the end of regulation they had 2 points and 8 fouls between them.  Is that simply a matter of Scales not being on the perimeter, allowing OC to collapse things and crowd the paint?  That’s probably part of it.

I for the most part agree with this statement. North seemed to of struggle from behind the arc for the majority of the game, however they made up for this with their shooting late in the game. The Mustangs got hot from 3 late in the 4th quarter, keeping them the lead for most of the late game and getting it into OT.

The coach of OC was pointing at the clock and the ref blew his whistle. Simple as that. It was a mistake.

No where did I say or imply that it was the difference in the game. If you want to pick nits I’d say it was a 5 point swing.The 3 OC didn’t get and the 2 North did.

BTW I didn’t know Coach Levitch had the nickname “The Prince of Prospect”
