January 12, 200719 yr It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong....but it wouldn't be the first time I was right, either. I detest ND, that is well known. However, I think he can do a couple of things that will set him apart from other rookie RB's: catch the ball out of the back-field and pick up blitzes. He's very smart, and the ability to read blitzes and pick up guys has held many guys back in the past. Again, we'll see. I just think he's off the board before most think and will be gone by the end of the 2nd. NFL Draft Guru, Mel Kiper Jr, thinks the same. Kiper actually has Walker ranked 4th among RB's going into the draft behind Peterson, Lynch & Bush.
January 12, 200719 yr The only 2 RB's that will go in the first round of the draft will be Peterson & Lynch IMO. There are a few more RB's that could be taken fairly high.. Darby - Alabama Booker - Flo St Irons - Auburn Bush - Louisville Garrett Wolfe - Northern Illinois - I can't wait to see how this kid does in the NFL. He is only 5-7...Maybe another Barry Sanders.....Nah, I doubt it but it will still be interesting to see how he ends up. 18 RB's were taken in the 2006 NFL draft (1st day - 4 in the 1st round, 2 in 2nd & 2 in 3rd)
