Sacred Heart raced out to a 28-9 first quarter lead over a good Southwestern squad and easily earned the victory tonight.  The Valkyries were lead by zakiyah Johnson with 27 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and six assists.  Reagan Bender added 17 points, four assists, and four steals.  Triniti Ralston recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  Angelina Pelayo added nine points and seven rebounds.  Pelayo was four of four from the field.  Kinsly Molden led Southwestern with 19 points including three three point baskets.  Stats provided by Bob Tonini of Sacred Heart Academy.

Well, Sacred Heart might roll over the competition this year.

I don’t see anyone standing in the way of Sacred Heart winning the championship again this year, not with the talent they have, particularly Johnson.
