According to RPI it looks like they get a rematch with Mason Co while Ashland travels to Bell Co. Both these games should be knock down drag out fights.

Wow. I expected Greenup to get Bell. Oh well, I’d say they would like another shot at Mason.

As predicted, not a passfest.  

Greenup County's Tyson Sammons was 7 for 7 and 0 INTs for 62 yards.  

Lawrence County's Pollock 6 for 16 for 39 yards.  Not having their receiver hurt the passing game, I'm sure.  

This was a one score game with just over 2 minutes left in the game.  Greenup ate up the clock on their final drive and capped it off with a touchdown.  Then the ensuing kickoff saw a LC fumble that recovered by Greenup in the red zone.  One play later, Greenup scored for the final time.  

This the first 8 win season for Greenup since 1998.  And, the first time they have been to round three since 2007

Lawrence County had a great season, and something to be proud of.  They only lost to two teams:  Raceland and Greenup County, twice.  They also got a win over Belfry, something they haven't done a lot.
