Hazard welcomes in Sayre for its first district game of the season. Hazard is coming off a 27-0 loss to Bardstown last week. Hazard will look to rebound and get back on the winning track and try to lock up at least the 2 seed in the district because Sayre was beat by Pikeville last week 44-15 putting them 0-1 in the district.

Hazard could get its big time wide receiver/tightened for this game which will definitely help in the passing game. I’m not sure on the young mans status for the game but if he plays it makes Hazard more dangerous to defend.

Sayre is a dangerous team who has young talent and mostly sophomore and junior dominated. So they aren’t going to be going away anytime soon. Look for Luke Pennington to distribute the ball out evenly to his play makers.

Who wins this district matchup? Does Hazard get back on the winning track? Does Sayre come in to Hazard and shock the 1A world?
