I don't know if he should start but Mofford is key to success for Augusta. As they say, "You can't teach height." His timing is really good for a kid who just learned game concepts. He can also avoid contact when going for a blocked shot.

Are you saying that it's all about Chris to Mofford?...Is that what you're implying?

I know the kid very well and you can tell from his emotion on the court that he loves the game and wants to win. It's not selfishness, it's confidence.

I agree though, Staggs is the first guy you pick going into battle. He's definitely got your back. He's mentally and physically tough. They call him "Shootie" not "Passie".

That statment was all about Dustin and just Dustin. I like the way he plays he takes his shots, makes shots, and if it is not there he will pass it off. I do think there is something there that other players on the team could learn from.

Total agreement on Staggs. He is a very hard worker on both ends of the floor. He's more relentless on the boards than anyone I've seen this season.

As for Mofford, he's really stepping it up. I'd like to see him less in junior varsity, so that he's fresh for the big game.

To me this is a Bad loss for the Panthers.

In one way I agree with you, because I would've never thought Augusta would have lost to NC, we did our first game with them and then came back in Bracken County Tournament and beat them soundly, kinda surprises me with the loss.
