Well the time has come where it counts in the record books and the standings.  I think one of the things we saw based on Soccerama (could be wrong) is that there might be some really good parity amongst a lot of teams this year.  That will make this season a LOT of fun.  Who really wants to play a match that ends in a 6-0 score (unless its Highlands over NDA, LOL).

To stay true to my Preseason Rankings, those are not going to change b/c of any Preseason results.  I will say based on some Preseason results I do have some thoughts on making some changes next week if things play out this week (when it counts) that my gut says will happen.

Three of our Top 10 teams travel this week down to Lexington, 2 of them playing in a Tates Creek Tournament (Campbell Co & Conner) and then Dixie playing in the Fayette County Soccer Spectacular.

1. NOTRE DAME

• 2 games this week (Bishop Brossart & Cooper)

3. HIGHLANDS

4. COOPER

5. CAMPBELL COUNTY

If anyone notices anything wrong/inaccurate regarding the game schedules let me know.

Me all day long!!

The SEASON IS FINALLY HERE!!!!

Covington Holy Cross defeated Villa in the first round of the All A 4-2.  Two goals for the Indians by Ivy Hoffman and two goals by Sydney Quercioli.  The Indians were up 2-0 when Villa scored on a corner. Villa then got another goal on a breakaway 1v1 with the goalie. The Indians came back and scored two additional goals to win.  it was a pretty clean game with very few fouls called. I felt like Holy Cross controlled the ball more than Villa but Villa made plays when they had to. The Villa goalie made several nice saves. I don’t have the stats but I would say shots on goal Holy Cross had 2-3x what Villa had.  Survive and advance.

Brossart over Ryle 3-0 tonight. Brossart played everybody.

BIG GAME FOR OUR NKY CAMELS TONIGHT IN FAYETTE COUNTY SPECTACULAR!

@SanktBearhas Bethlehem #5 in the State, which sounds about right.  This will be a HUGE test for Campbell County and will show us in NKY how truly good Campbell County is when they come around and play the NKY teams.
