This is now posted on the school district's website. Any news behind why it is opening up at such a late date?

This is an interesting development, you're right Se7ens, especially the timing.

They have a new Superintendent and a new Principal there I believe.  That may have something to do with it.  I thought Coach Boone did a good job.

Their program is going through a re-loading phase, and the lower teams (Frosh and JV) really struggled last year, but they are traditionally a very nice program and I always thought all 3 levels were well-coached.  You still have to have some Susies and Tinas to win games.  I do know their 7th and 8th teams were solid last year, especially the 7th grade team that they mostly kept together instead of playing up, so maybe the worm will turn in the next few years.  Their Frosh team really, really struggled last year, especially in the back-court.

I believe Boone has accepted one of the vacant Assistant Principal jobs at Campbell County High School.
