McCracken was short handed tonight, which aided Tilghman in the win. 

Tilghman has to take it any way they can get it though as McCracken has owned them for quite some time. This is Tilghman's first win since 2017. 

By the way, I've said this for years, let's play all these district games in the St. Mary's gym every year. Always a great atmosphere.

McCracken will still go into the Region tournament as the favorite no doubt. 

 

Some District winner is going to get either McCracken County or Murray, wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Just realized this AM that Tilghman shut Brower out in scoring. He sat for a while with 3 fouls which hurt. When they made 3 3's in a row at the end I thought for about 3-4 seconds they were going to pull it out. Just couldn't do it.

 

McCracken sure got a good draw in the Regional or so it appears, as Murray and Tilghman are in the same bracket.

 

PTHS was missing the Warren kid and lost Cam Marshall back in January. Both of those guys have been starters.
