Wow! Is Hazard in a slump?, are they "overrated"? or is Breathitt highly underrated and alot better than what everyone thought? Breathitt played them in a close one earlier this season as well, lost by 2 i believe.

In the first game Breathitt had them down by i believe 14 points, and blew the lead, glad to see them get that one back. Very impressive win, and it was at Hazard.

That's unbelievable! If this is true..then can't we factor in Breathitt ..with JBS and Hazard for the regional title.

(since everyone thinks one of the two will win it, hands down) If this is the same Breathitt team that i've seen in the past then there are many teams in the region that should be factored in. Powell and Lee IMO would have a good chance of beating Breathitt co.. Seems that the Region is shaping up to be another up for dibs season just like in previous years. IMO the Region could be won by 5 teams, no particular order.

The 14th is once again wide open. Just when you think 1 or 2 teams are above the rest, something like this happens. Seems like it happens every year in the 14th. Any of the 5 listed above could win it.

The 14th is extremely wide open. I have saw more than 5 teams that could win on a good night. Some freshmen that didn't see any playing time in the first Hazard/Breathitt game were the difference in this game. Dakota Ritchie played big and Channing Fugate were the difference makers in this game. Hollan and Smith always play big, but the freshmen were the intangible in this big win.

Coach Banks has Breathitt playing well. Breathitt still has several players from that middle school team that won the state a few years ago, so I wouldnt really call them underrated.

These boys have played together along time now......Breathitt only has i believe 2 seniors. They will be a force for the next few years. I just hope they can keep this ball rolling.

That was a good win for them but I think that might be the only team they have played that has a winning record...

I am not beating up on Breathitt, I just made the comment that they had played a soft schedule and I felt like it is hard to measure how good they are. Besides Hazard the other teams they have played have a record of 42 wins and 73 losses . Only two of these teams have winning records ,Buckhorn 5-4 and Garrard 8-6......

You say that you have not seen Breathitt play this year, but you know how they have played in every game. You always seem to have all the details and stats from every game and you always know who plays well. You judge the schedule and haven't seen any of these games. How can you do that?

Any team that is 11 and 1 and has beat Hazard on their own floor in their own tournament is a pretty good team.

I got all the game numbers off of BGP Scoreboard. I am not sure what you mean by I always have all the details and stats. I have not seen Breathitt play but if you think they are very good then maybe they are. I have nothing at all against Breathitt and hope they have a good season.
