Final

Trinity won it down the stretch.

Brooks had an awesome tip slam at the end.

Tanner Jacobs had another double double 17pts and 14 rebounds, he also had six steals. what type of stats did Brooks put up?

TANNER is going nuts this season.

Can someone from Doss help me understand why Brooks is not the focus of their offense? I watched the CCH game and this one, and in both games he gets lost in whatever it is they are trying to run. I think they had four possesions late in this one and he didn't touch the ball? There wasn't a kid out there who could stop him imo....it was weird to watch the 6'8" kid setting picks for his teammates so often. I'm sure I don't have an accurate opinion after watching only two games, but it seemed odd to me. Keeping him boggled up in traffice and/or at the top of the key when he has a 6'2" kid guarding him really helped the CCH group.

The kid that shut Brooks down was 6'7" Tanner Jacobs, a blue collar player from Trinity in Louisville. Jacobs is very physical and Brooks lost the ball at least five times to a quicker Jacobs. I never saw a 6'2" kid defending Brooks. The Doss staff did a good job.

Thats why Doss has lokk as many games as they have so far is because Brooks doesnt get enough touches. IMO he should touch they ball every offensive set. He has a great mid-range jumper and can take it to the hole, but he needs to be down on the blocks along with Tony Brown and banging the boards. Davin Anderson is on of the best guards in the state and can get him the ball most of the time. Now im not sure but I think Anderson is a little on the selfish side.

Hopefully since its a new year that this team will gel together and the coaches will find a way to get the ball to Brooks more.
