Pulaski County 70 Danville 63

Featured Replies

Went out to Danville for this one tonight.  The refs also let both teams play, so it was a tough, aggressive game throughout.  Ads were undersized relative to Pulaski but fought hard through the four quarters.  They were up 1 with 5 minutes to go, but Pulaski hit some crucial free throws and put backs, while the Ads missed about four or five free throws in a row.  I don't have stats, but I'd venture to say that the Ads were outrebounded by close to a 2:1 margin.

I went to the game also. Danville played well enough to win this game. Missed free throws cost the ADS. I came away extremely impressed with Freshman Demauriah Brown. He is going to be a player. Pulaski County Gavin Stevens was the difference in this game. He was clearly the best player on the court. When they get Barek Williams back they will be a tough out for anybody. They are so big and strong 1-5. I thought Jaylen Dunn played the great the first half and kinda stopped going to the rim in the second half. When he decides to play downhill he's hard to handle. Pulaski County Zach Travis played great also. I could see Pulaski County being a dangerous team in a couple of months when Williams returns and If I was Boyle County or Lincoln County in the 45th District I would not overlook Danville. If they get another scorer to go with Dante Hayden and Jaylen Dunn they could beat both of them.

I really wish the Danville community would come out to these games more.  The Pulaski crowd was more vocal and made more noise than the home fans.  And this isn't a one off either.  I know Lincoln basically turns the boys/girls games into a home game via proxy.

Keep telling everyone Ads team is good just young. Come district time they could be hard to handle. Ed got them playing really hard.
