I was at the game, not taking anything away from the kid, but  just find these numbers very misleading.

Sheppard is the real deal, He could have dropped 50 if he wanted to. Only took 2 shots in the 3rd and was looking to pass the ball more.

Sooo are you saying Shepard isn’t as advertised?? I have seen him as a freshman and as a sophomore and he was obviously much better than everyone else then. I haven’t seen him this year yet but he has only improved year to year so I am sure he is a man among boys this year. Otherwise he wouldn’t be a 5 star and draw interest from coach Cal. Coach Caliper hasn’t handed out free rides to many boys from Kentucky since he has been the coach here.

I'm not saying Reed is or will be a dud, certainly has a good blood line.  However, I do believe he will have to improve a lot over the next two years, which he may or may not, some kids do peak early.  I do believe Cal has misjudged the talents of more than one player during his tenure.
