Elliott Co.

It would have been a good thing for them. The tournaments seem to help bring teams together and prepares for postseason competition. I have not heard any explanation.

When is their next game?

When is their next game?

Jan 2 at East Carter and Jan 5 vs Rowan Co.

Maybe no invites or too many games? Elliott Co. probably wouldn't be a big draw to the big cities.

They actually bring a pretty good crowd for a small school. I think that Mays thought the Raceland tournament last year may have took his kids legs out before the Class "A". Just a guess.

The two tournaments are at least 3 weeks apart and Fairview which won the 16th region all a last year played in the Raceland tournament.

Maybe Mays needed to rest his brain this holiday season!

All kidding aside, they probably did remember last season's debacle against Fairview.

I did not say I agreed with it. I was just trying to think of a good reason when there probably is not one.

Elliott's schdule got messed up after they starting seeding their district this year. Elliott needed the practice and the time off really to come together as a team.
