North Laurel at Southwestern Predictions/Updates

North Laurel returns the kickoff to their own 28.  Two sacks, a run for a loss, and a false start forces a Jaguars punt from their own 4 yard line.  Southwestern will have it first and ten from the NL 42.

Giddeon Brainard takes the ball to the house in the first play but it's called back due to a hold.

Two plays later Burton hits Hibbard for a 42 touchdown. Extra point hits the upright. 9-0 Southwestern 6 second to go in the first quarter.

NL takes over on their own 18.  A holding penalty and a 13 yard loss on a sack results in a safety.  11-0 Warriors with 11:58 to go in the second quarter.

Southwestern drives down to the Jaguars 20 but turns it over on downs. Still 11-0 with 7:13 to go in the second.

North Laurel drives it to the SW 10 but turns it over on a fumble.  5:40 to go in the second quarter, 11-0 SW.

Southwestern takes it down the field in 3 plays, capped off by a 33 yard touchdown run by Tanner Wright. Extra point is good. Southwestern leads 18-0 with 4:56 to go in the second quarter.

Southwestern gets the ball back with 52 seconds to go and scores in 3 plays.  It was capped off with a 20 yard touchdown class from Burton to Bland. Extra point is good. SW up 25-0 with 13 seconds to go in the half.

North Laurel gets in the end zone on a 10 yard pass. 32-7 Southwestern with 5:31 to go in the game.  

Getting chippy.  North is picking up a bunch of unsportsmanlike conduct and personal fouls in the 4th quarter.

Southwestern returns the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown. About 5 flags on the play. Both coaches are being called to midfield. 

 

No explanation from the refs but Southwestern's touchdown is called back.  

 

North Laurel is not reacting well to their first loss.  This is about to get out of hand.
