NCC keeps the Bell. It seems like every year NCC is the visiting team they bring the Bell home with them. 

The Bell rides in first class up the hill. 

Kolt Smith tied the school record with 5 TD passes. He also ran one in. Something his brother has never done. Jeff Smith was on the practice squad with the Bengals. Sorry Jeff but your sophomore brother might be better. Kolt threw 2 Td passes to Luke Runion, 2 TD passes to Dom Morgan and a 2 point conversion. Luke Brockman scored the last Td pass. 

Huge night for Kolt.

Any truth to a rumor that a former Newport coach will be joining the NCC staff as early as this week?

It would be a logical landing spot. NCC has been looking for coaches. The DC at NCC has coached with him before. Godspeed to the kids at NCC.

Honestly Newport would have taken the “L” regardless of a coach being hired from Newport High. Heck, you could give NHS NCC’s playbook and They would still with at the same Margin

Wasn’t referring to the game or score, I know nothing of either team and defer.  I was discussing the unusual circumstances around one coach leaving/being asked to leave a  program(I’m not 100% sure which) and joining another within the same year.  It doesn’t seem to happen much in high school.

Right, little odd. I guess you have to jump at the opportunity if you aren’t happy and if nothing in a coaches contract says otherwise then make the jump. Do what is best for yourself. I guess at the end of the day you have to look out for number 1
