Final from Mt. Vernon.

Estill had their chances. Two of Rock's scores came on an 85 yard kick return and a fumble return.

Thanks for the updates @All State Baseball @RoCkMaN28!

Hats off to Estill County they have much improved over the last several years. They have nothing to hang their heads about. They have a good solid team. Hope for the best for their QB he is a baller and game changer he went out in this game didn’t even put any weight on what appeared to be some type of ankle injury hopefully he can return at some point this season. Game was a wild an crazy one. Each week I have watched this Rock team improve and not quit. They are a gritty bunch that just won’t go away no matter what the score. Game looked a little bleak early as we lose our leading offense production RB Chasteen who had over 500 yards coming into the game and was also our leading tackler on defense he is just a baller. Then one of our lineman goes down and he never came back. Chasteen came back in the third and played on offense only then in the fourth would play some on defense. Rock just finds ways to get the W. Tonight it came with special teams taking a kick off 92 yards to the house. Then we also got a punt block that set up a TD on 4th down and 2 on the 2 and Chasteen got the carry to score. Late in the fourth to seal the deal you had a bad snap go off Estill county QB face mask then right in the hands of Chasteen and then it was off to the races for a TD. Rock was playing great defense most of the night Estill wouldn’t give up an found the end zone twice in the third quarter when it looked like Rock was fixing to shut the door but Rock would find a way to put 6 more on the board after every big TD by Estill like I said was just a fun game to watch. Good luck rest of the season to Estill was very impressed with the improvement they have made. On to the district matchup for what should be for all the marbles and 1st place to the winner and runner up’s to the loser next week down in Bell County. Should be another classic!
