This might turn out to be a pretty good game.

Really good opponent for SK out of the gate. Oldham was just up in NKY to visit Ryle and didn't fair so well. A lot of questions about SK's team could get answers on Friday. I think SK wins a close one at home.

I look for the Pioneers to have a good night after scrimmaging CovCath last week.

This is a game I’m really excited for. This will be a good judge of we’re OC is as a team. We know that there going to be good but how good is the question. Last week at Ryle even though the game was canceled after halftime, it seemed as though Oldham was just shooting themselves in the foot the whole game. For example just as they were about to score they threw a 101 yard pick six. Simon Kenton is definitely going to be a hard game for the Colonels. Im hoping Oldham can get the win but since it’s at SK, I have to go with the pioneers.

SK is struggling to find some Offense. 37-3 vs Cov Cath and I don't think they scored against Lex Cath either in scrimmages.  What is going on, heard the passing game is not there and offense just looks out of synch.

Will definitely be interesting to see Coach McBroom's first Colonel team.....of course, he's  not new to the Colonels, having been an assistant under former head man Mike Fox.    But now it's his team, and his philosophy, and the overall style of play will be different.

Young starts his third year at QB for the Colonels after winning district offensive player of the year last year as a junior - and that following a stellar sophomore campaign.    Will be interesting to see how he has matured since last year.    Definitely a potential game-changer at the quarterback spot.

I think both teams have a lot of questions to answer in Game 1, and this one could be very interesting, indeed.
