The Walker Smallwood story went nationwide this morning on the CBS Sunday Morning show.

Couldn’t ask for a better result. Is he still playing? All the stories reference his no-hitter as being a one time thing and that he wouldn’t play again. According to stats, he’s appeared in 4 games and pitched 14 innings.

Pure speculation on my part here as I do not know, but my guess is since the first outing went so well, and with the shin guard to protect the leg, the parents, doctors, and coaches agreed to allow him to play some more.  It's probably next to impossible to keep the kid completely off the field now.
