Ugly game.  But, I thought I'd give Coach Don Irvine some props for steering the Rebels to an 8-4 record so far.

Surprising loss for the Lions. Casey has a couple decent players but Don does help with his experience.

Garrard didn't have an answer for Spencer Baird. He had 35 points for Casey and made numerous big shots in the fourth quarter. Good night for Hudson Cornett for Garrard, but Casey did a decent job on Quisenberry. Cooper for Garrard is playing with a broken nose and wearing a mask and it really seemed to make him uncomfortable last night, especially in the first half.

It's a bad loss at home anyway you slice it.  They brought 4 starters back coming into season, and a coach's son who was incredibly hyped.  The road doesn't get any easier with Boyle, Somerset and West Jessamine looming.  Hopefully, they can get some things corrected!

You've been around the region for a while. What are your thoughts on the Willoughby kid for Casey? #11, big man. I hadn't seen him but he's got a nice shot for a sophomore his size. Should be a solid contributor for them for a few more years.

He was strictly a 3 PT. shooter last season as FR.  Seems to have added some things into his game.  Very fundamental ball fake into his middle game.  Him and Baird are a formidable duo.  They're another impact player away from making noise.
