Scott 67 Campbell County 65

Featured Replies

Final per the Scoreboard.  The 37th never fails to disappoint.

In the highly anticipated yearly 10th Region rivalry game, the Scott High Eagles played host to the Campbell County Camels, and like always it did not disappoint.

The Eagles jumped out early ending the 1st quarter up 18-8. By halftime the Camels only managed to cut it to 8, 35-27. They began getting closer, cutting the lead to 5 by the end of the 3rd, 52-46, and then it was game on.

The Camels finally knotted the game at 65 all with 1:12 remaining on the clock.

From there the possession went back and forth until Scott managed to drop one in with 2.5 seconds remaining on the clock making it 67-65. The Eagles thwarted the Camel's last ditch effort by stealing the ball at half court when time ran out, game over.

Scott had the lead the whole game, Camels 2 man offense couldn’t produce in the paint but keep trying, Beiting had some big 3’s to help cut the lead down, big district win for the Eagles. I see the Camels struggling to get out of districts.

Scott is getting some big time production out of 3 sophomores including one of them hitting the game winning shot for the eagles.

Totally agree, Camels leading scorer a Sophomore took 6 attempts, I’ve never seen a team who’s high scorer has no plays for him.  All his points comes off loose balls a drives and still manages to score 16-17 a game. Kinda sad.
