Fields for the rest of this year. Three man race next year with Stroud, Miller, and McCord and then Ewers the year after. Is there a doubt in anyone’s mind that the best QB guru in the country is Ryan Day?

I would say Lincoln Riley would have an argument with how many of his Qbs have been in the Heisman race each each.

With that said, if you are a top high school QB.  Oklahoma and OSU are the two places that most definitely should want to go to with the numbers their QBs put up.

Ryan Day will need Fields to pan out to be a good NFL qb though. Other wise eventually he may be be looked at for having a great system, but not great at producing good NFL Qbs.

Time will tell. Fields is really the first guy that has been all Day. Fields success is clearly having an impact. Similar to what Clemson is seeing with Lawrence following Watson and DJ U (not even going to try to type his last name) following Lawrence. It takes one guy to spring board. Oklahoma and USC are probably the top 2 schools that people generally dub, “QBU.” Ohio State and Clemson have basically built off the success of one guy and are building an embarrassment of riches off of that one player.

Ewers is the only guy who can give Fields a run for his money.  Some team out there is gonna win 10+ games with a few of our back up QB’s via the portal.

Day met Ewers as an 8th grader and offered him a scholly after watching him throw.  Then he had to call and tell Meyer.  Only Day and LJ had the power to do that.
