This Boyd Co Lions team is much improved from what they have been the past few years. Hard nosed, smash mouth team.

The Raiders showed some true grit as well. No game for 3 weeks, get down by 2 scores late in the game, but stay composed, stay focused, go to work and get the job done.

Ferguson is getting things turned around in Cannonsburg. They've got three wins this season after winning three games combined over the last three years and they've been competitive in all of their losses except one. I don't know how that district will shake out, but it's competitive enough from top to bottom that I could see Boyd winning a playoff game. They might need to beat Rowan this week just to get in. The 2 through 4 seeds in the district are jumbled together right now.

I agree, I saw Boyd play last year at Holmes, they  just was not very good, this year I said they were the most improved team in the district, the staff has did a tremenous job.  I think the district will shake out with Harrison playing Holmes and Rowan and Boyd , I believe Scott is elimated.
