NKY in 5/3

If Mason and Holmes matched up in the finals as you have predicted...IMO Mason would beat Holmes by 10 or more.

My reasons for saying this is that: 1. Darius Miller.... nothing else needs to be said. 2. Each have played SK with SK barely beating Holmes in OT, but Mason destroyed SK in a scrimmage. 3. Mason has a better bench than Holmes.

You do know this same Holmes team beat Mason by 20 right? The same Mason that had Darius Miller. Not saying Holmes would beat them again but they have the team to do it. You cant compare scores.

Mason Co. didnt destroy SK. They only kept score for each quarter and reset the the score after each. Each team made alot of substitutions and never really went at it starting 5 against starting 5. And Hester didnt even play until the 2nd quarter and didnt ever go all out. That was no gauge of what these two teams really are. Darius seemed to be their biggest player and he was struggling trying to guard Hurd. They have some really good shooters on that team but Holmes even without Duran can beat them.

True, but he isn't nearly as strong as Hurd. I don't think he will cause Rice and/or Hill as many problems as Josh did.

Thats not what I meant. He's 6'7 I just dont think Austin is going to be guarding him. Jeff is a different player than Josh Hurd. Hurd stays cemented down in the post and Brooks can hurt you from outside and inside.

I'd say Holmes has the best shot at going far into the 5/3rd, I would like to see a Holmes/Clark Co. game. SK will be tested from the first tip with Henry Clay/ Trinity and possibly Mason. I see the Stangs bowing out to LexCath in round 3, and CovCath possibly going out in round 2.

SK sure has the toughest path in this one.

Holmes definately has the easiest road, but I wouldn't be surprised if either of the others were to get hot and make a run.

Any of the 4 teams if they play well can beat any team in this tournament. How awesome would it be if it was a NKY final four huh? A little far fetched but possible.
