Open Job: Lloyd Memorial

Featured Replies

Lloyd Memorial job is open courtesy of the KHSAA Site.

Coach Volpenhein is a great guy from what I understand. I find it crazy that after all the things that were stated about him and what was claimed to happen at Lloyd, he still is a teacher at Lloyd. Sports bring out all kinds of stories about things that aren’t true. 150 kids in a classroom but no problems there.

I'm not sure what was said about him but he is no longer teaching at Lloyd.

Not surprised after what went down at the end of the season.

Lots of mention to what happened at the end of the season.....what facts do we have about that situation? Not sure what went down..........

You can look back at all the hear say and people speculating on the threads when it was basketball season. What I will say is how it is funny that this is the second place some of these things have happened at for a couple of these students. Different coaches and same stories.

I've been following the Juggs for years and I do know that the past few years there were multiple players quit throughout the season. Started with 5 seniors this year, ended with 1. As far as the ones you are speaking of I think there was obviously more to it since KHSAA gave them eligibility to transfer without moving. So I think its more than different coaches same stories.

The coach allowed a parent to manipulate things, and at the end of the season, that parent blew things up.
