Turfway Park’s Jeff Ruby Stakes

Featured Replies

Anybody going this Saturday? I think I have only missed this event once or twice since 1986. It certainly isn’t the same crowded event it used to be, but I still love the day. Plus, it is the last one before the old Turfway Park building is finally getting put out of its misery.

Looking for great things in the future now that Churchill is taking over. Purses and payouts have already improved.

One of my 3 favorite "sports" events of the year (with Opening Day and the Shootout). I'll be in the tent, anticipating the usual horrible wind / rain weather we've been so accustomed to. Wouldn't miss it!

This event has been canceled.

Jeff Ruby has donated all of the ground beef intended for this event, to the people of the Tenn. storm victims.Enough beef to feed 2700 people.
