Shocker would be an understatement.

Just 2 weeks ago the Tigers lost 38-79 to Warren Central and turned it around tonight.

The return of starting point guard Alijah Watts has Larry Miller’s Tigers playing with new energy.

If the Purples don’t get it together.. 1st round of District will be the end of the road for them. HopTown didn’t beat BG.. they beat themselves. 16 turnovers in a game is inexcusable. They kids that were screwing up last night were left in there to keep making mistake after mistake. Sometimes its just not your night.. if that’s the case, let them watch from the bench. I’m still confused on who’s in charge of that BG team. Coaches talking back and forth amongst one another.. it seems like every week they add a new face to the sideline. Sometimes too many opinions can HURT and confuse kids! No way 7-8 coaches can all be on the same page. Heck you don’t see that many coaches on a college sideline.

Hard to watch! Especially with how much talent BG is blessed with. For the sake of those boys, I hope BG gets it together and leads that team where their talent can take them!

Hopkinsville is a dark-horse team in the 2nd region IF they can get to the Regional tourney due to talent (Watts/Victor) and location (Region Tourney is at Hopkinsville).

Warren Central has all the tools to win that region. Whether they do or not is up in the air. But they're playing much better this half of the season and would be my favorite to win the region.

This was a bad loss for BG, but I'm not sure that its gonna matter in the end if Warren Central keeps playing as they have been or improving.

WC has been playing well. I’d say with 10 Seniors, I believe, they’ll definitely be playing With a lot of heart. They don’t have another year. BG only has 2 Seniors and their playing time is very limited. Unseld seems to let his better talent just play. They’re relaxed out there on the court. BG seems tight like they’re afraid to mess up. There’s no hype ness on the bench at all from the entire coaching staff. The boys definitely aren’t playing up to their potential. Hopefully their Ballard game with be a nice, competitive, learning game right before District begins!!
