The BGP #3 Colonels, playing for the third time in three days, head to Middletown to play in the Midwest King Classic versus the Senators. Cov Cath is riding a 14 game win streak. Taft, with a handful of projected next-level players, sits in second place in the CMAC Red Division. Taft won last year's game 40-38.

From the Butler County Journal-News’ Laurel Pfahler -

“Another game that should draw some attention is the Day 2 matchup between Covington Catholic and Taft. Covington Catholic has 6-foot-5 freshman Chandler Starks, whose father Keith was a University of Cincinnati standout from 1987 to 1991, and Taft features forward Rayvon Griffin, who is ranked by several recruiting sites as one of the top 10 freshmen in the nation and an AAU teammate of Lebron James Jr.”

I’m curious to see if/how the Griffin vs. Starks matchup plays out. Tipoff at 6:30 on Jerry Lucas court. Can anyone provide updates tonight?
