Hensley bank shot pulls SK to within one at 42-41. 4:55 left in third.

SK only getting offense from Hensley, Davis, and Niece.

46-43 FC with 3:14 left in the third. Rogers with a runner in the lane for the Tigers. SK has no answer for this kid.

Isaac Miller at the line for SK....hits two.

46-44 FC

Hensley is really leaving it all on the floor at both ends for Simon Kenton.

Rogers a running scoop shot in the lane for FC.

48-45

Rogers drives - SK collapses - and he rifles a nifty pass to Montgomery on the left wing, who hits a three to put FC up 51-45. 1:29 left in third.

Brann fouls Montgomery on a "make"....53-45. Montgomery at line for FC for possible three point play.

Good.

35.5 seconds left in third. 55-45 Fern Creek

Fern Creek has REALLY turned up the heat on their man to man defense. SK turns the ball over on a bad pass against the half-court pressure.

Time out. 14.9 seconds left in third.

Ten point FC lead

SK is losing, but this is a valiant effort against a top tier team with a hobbled Niece and missing the Pioneers' leading scorer (Logan Schwartz).

Still a quarter to play....

15 footer by FC pushes the lead to 56(?) to 45 at the end of three.

They must have corrected the score to 54-45 before that shot.

Anyway, it's an eleven point lead for the Tigers after three. Very good passing by this Tiger team.

Montgomery starts the fourth with a basket from the side. 58-45. Largest lead of the game for Fern Creek. 7:28 to play.

Davis misses a three; FC with the board, and Caden Bradford scores on a drive off a missed shot to push FC to a 60-45 advantage SK timeout with 6:43 left.

FC doing a good job of pressuring Davis; SK having a tough time getting him the ball in a scoring position.

Pioneers come back on to the floor with Hensley, Davis, Niece, Miller, and Smith.

Hensley finds Niece on a cut to the basket; Niece fouled and goes to the line for two.

Makes one of two.

60-46 FC

6:26 left in the game

Great passing by FC to find Montgomery in the lane (again) for any deuce.

62-46
